I really got a feel for the places and characters in the story. You get lost in the story. You'll love it. This book will always have a place in my Library!

L'Mour's best non-western novel by far! The conflict between the two main characters keeps the reader glued to the pages, I found it difficult to put down. The survival lore shows a great attention to detail & extensive research by the author.

I've read almost every book L'amour wrote, but if I had to chose a favorite out of all of them The Last of the Breed would win, hands down!!! I've read it at least 3 or 4 times.
