First, I am thankful that new books in the Knights Templar Mystery series are being released more quickly in the U.S. Second, Jecks does carefully research his work and uses history as a back ground to weave wonderful mysteries in early 14th century England. I accidentally came upon Jecks and his friend Bernard Knight, also an author of note not to mention forensic pathologist, a couple of years ago. I was hooked. Good historical research and good tellers of tales. I had wondered how Jecks could possibly top his last work, yet The Prophecy of Death managed to meet the mark square on. Thank you Michael for another great effort in historical murder mystery set in medieval England.
