I really enjoyed this one. First of Nora Roberts for me. I am planning on reading more from her.

I read the Twilight series and needed something to fall back on. I was confused by all of the different skills/Magic of the characters at first but then that is what kept me reading. I had a tough time getting through the 1st book but toward the end I couldn't put it down. It is worth the read if you give it a fair chance. The only thing that annoyed me was her spelling of Vampire and fairy.I know it sounds crazy but even when she spelled Magic it was odd and threw my brain into spell check mode. Now I see it was a term used years ago, I am over it, but all in all I was happy with the books. The Key Trilogy was my favorite so far. I gave that series 5 stars.

I just finished the trilogy and I loved them! I generally wouldn't be drawn to anything with vampires in it, but the way Nora Roberts did these books were just awesome. I tend to read in spirts - a few minutes here and there and never more than a hour at a time... just comes with having two small children. So with these, by the second book, I was squeezing in extra time to read it and on the third, I finished within a few days with the help of a couple late nights. It was addicting - and I was sad when it was over! I've read a handful of Nora Roberts books and I think these were one of the best. Great read! I plan to read the trilogy again soon. I think I'll enjoy them just as much the second time.

This trilogy has made me a dedicated Nora Roberts fan. The characters and plot are intriguing - I couldn't put a book down until I had read all three books! I love the mystical element - it really added to the already superb reading.
