Called Polish Polocks and did not apologoze- ended up creating more Nazis Ask again why there is anti-semitism

I give her one star because she hated polish people. Why should I take advice from a discriminatory bitch who uses slurs in her columns? Remember her nasty "Polack" comment? I do!

She did a very good job with her columns. I'm so sorry she left us.

The four stars are for the "new" Anne Landers; her advice is so much more relevant than the old recycled stuff, and I'm glad to see that, so far, those boring "how we met" stories have not soiled the column.

Ann Landers was my absolute favorite advice column. Annie's Mailbox tries to pick up where it left off, but it is not the same. I also miss saying "Dear Ann Landers" in the most nasal voice possible.

I think I'm the only person my age who actually read Ann Landers columns, and I don't care about that. The new column based off that, Annie's Mailbox, is pretty good...however, I still remember this fantastic column a while back in which someone wrote in all bent out of shape becuase they'd discovered their daughter was in a lesbian relationship. Her repsonse was dead-on...accept her as she is and if you can't live with it, just agree to disagree. She could take the problems of just about anyone and give them some decent adive in turn. She shall be missed. Take care, everyone.

I was deeply saddened by the death of Esther Lederer (a.k.a. Ann Landers) last June. I have always enjoyed reading her columns. She was smart and funny and gave great advice. I miss her dearly.
