 | diveerere1 (0) 03/25/2004 | Lets face it, abs is not the real deal. I'd have a better shot running for president of the whole eastern area of the world. c'mon now. Why can't she get any of my questions right if she's such a great critic, an don't let me get started on sylvia brown....

 | jred (0) 10/03/2003 | I recently had the pleasure of reading DA's first published piece of advice. It was to a woman who's sister was being physically abused by her husband. She told the woman that her sister must have asked for it, and that she should just fight back. What about Anne? Her sister. Who wants advice from someone who can't even love her own sister?

 | Solenoid DH (20) 10/02/2003 | Many years ago, she seemed to have core values. But now she's "trendy," changes with the times and simply mirrors the latest faddish thinking. I liked it better when she was an individual who didn't have to go with the flow. Her opinions are no longer worth reading because they've become so predictable.

 | LadyShark4534 (12) 09/28/2003 | Self righteous bitch. I'd pop a good punch in her face if I met her.
Always assuming "I'm right, I know everything. So y'all have to listen to me."
Always preaching and parroting.
Always giving just one solution because in her old, senile, prune mind because everything has to go ONE way according to her.
Do us all a favor, Dear Abby. SHUT UP!
And stop giving me tips from your simplistic little mind.

 | AndrewScott (73) 07/08/2003 | I feel everyone's lives would be better if they approached relationships with the same type of common sense for which this writer is reknowned. She is unparalleled in straight-to-the-point wisdom that encourages us all to live their lives in better, more productive ways. We can all use this kind of advice to affirm the best in ourselves, or wake us up for the need to address dysfunction in our lives.

 | BonnieBlue (0) 02/28/2003 | I always enjoyed Abby more than Anne, but for the best advice column these days, I recommend her daughter, Margo Howard, who appears as "Dear Prudence" every Thursday afternoon at slate.com

 | BIGBABY (11) 02/08/2003 | She helps people which I suppose is good, but her column is boring.
