Only an addict would think of this as recreational. A person can become hooked on just one use of this drug; research has proved it, and it has ruined many lives. And anybody that thinks this is ok needs help, and I'm sorry if I have offended anyone, but that's the way it is.

I'm happy to see that most people have a healthy fear of this drug, and am shocked that some people feel it is a good occasional high. There are healthy people who smoke weed and drink, but I've never come across an emotionally stable heroin user. Many people are able to function for months or years on this drug, but it eventually catches up to everybody. When resources run out, it leads to stealing, violence, prostitution, and homelessness. I've never used heroin, but have watched how it torments my brother for over a decade now. Hes had periods where he seems to be doing well and has held down jobs, while using and not using. However, in the end he has very little to show for the last decade of his life besides survival. Not only does heroin destory the individual, but it kills families as well.

I assume you have a LOT of spare time on your hands if this is what you are doing as a recreational drug.

once is enough. You cant take this drug recreational cos take it once and your fucked why cos the hit makes you feel like your wrapped up in cotton wool its like a warm blanket being put over you. Nothing is sharp or fast its all slow and round.

People who say they only take it now and again are lying. People who say you dont get addicted first time are lying. why cos your mentally addicted the very first time. Your then physically addicted within 2 - 3 times. doctors dont know jack why cos theve never took the fn stuff dont take advice from docs that have never been there.

It makes me cringe people saying it makes you feel good. NO it makes you feel numb. Theres a huge difference. Like alcoholics who hide behind drink Heroin is 100x better at making you not feel and hide from the world. It doesnt make you feel good it just makes you not feel.

People that take it are hiding from life they cant handle life thats why so many geniuses have died on this drug cos they cant live without the numbness they dont want to feel they cant handle it it overloads them

You know when you are really tired and you get to go to sleep. that few moments just before you fall asleep thats what it feels like "comfortably numb" but all the time well at least as long as your hit lasts 3 - 6 hours

If you ask me its not worth the come down cos if you have never rattled before then you have no idea of the pain and want you feel after coming off the drug. Think scraping a electric guitar with a sharp object. All you want is to return to that twilight dumbed down state where nothing matters. Except your next hit.

It comes from opium and eventually is addictive. It is not instantly addictive, however. You have to work at it to get addicted. Also, getting off is not as bad as advertised. So saith the docs who deal with this addiction.

I've done some drugs I've enjoyed and some I regret- but this stuff was strictly off-limits for me.  Creates physical and psychological enslavement.
