I ordered this CD for my blind sister. Ended up returning it because I ordered "audio CD" but what was sent was MP3 format. This is the 2nd time this has happened on orders for this sister, the descriptions are not clear at all -- description specifically said audio CD. We will not be ordering any more audio books from Amazon.

I just finished listening to the audiobook version of this title - it was a very nice diversion from my usual spy-mystery reads. I enjoyed listening, but sure wouldn't want a steady diet of this. I kept thinking how much this was like a Lifetime movie - pure sappy romance. Glad I checked it out from the library, really wouldn't want to spend money on it. So if you want to take a no-brain romantic diversion, this would be one.

Coco Barrington has a great deal she needs to live up to. Her name comes with many expectations that at times seem nigh overwhelming. She agrees to house and dog sit for her sister and her sisters partner and what starts off as a favor turns into more than she bargains for because her sisters luxurious home, she finds it comes with an added attraction. Handsome British actor Leslie Baxter. This guy has his own issues namely a psycho stalking ex-girlfriend. But that doesn't stop the immediate attraction between the two. Coco begins to look at the world in a different light and Leslie is the man she wants a future with. Can these two vastly different people find a happy ending, and can old wounds Coco has carried with her for a lifetime finally be healed? This title is reminiscent of DS's older stories. There is heart and depth and thankfully little repetition of thoughts and ideas. This is truly a romance story in every way. This is an enjoyable read.

Life's problems - family, love, jobs - take place in many "wrappings". Hollywood and LA, movie stars, producers and fame, are not what most of us have to deal with. But our needs and dreams are amazingly alike. 22 year old Coco is a disappointment to her bestselling author mother and producer sister. Her sister lives in a lesbian relationship with her partner Liz, but any flaw this might have caused has long been redeemed by her professional success. Coco works as a dog walker and lives in a small cabin on the beach. She dropped out of law school and loves her free, simple and unpretentious life with her dog Sallie. At least for now. While house sitting for her sister, Coco meets famous movie star Leslie. They fall in love - et voilà! But not quite. Is it only bliss to be rich and famous? Do mutual feelings mean an automatically happy ending? Danielle Steel touches many of life's important questions in her latest novel. In particular, the importance of materialistic things - fame, wealth, appearances - vis-à-vis the beauty of nature, children and animals. Time for each other and accepting and respecting each other as we are. A page-turner, yes. But with lots of inspiring moments inviting pondering stops all along. An important book, written with wisdom and love.
