04/23/2004 | Eddie is NOT a great F1 driver, and sticking with a lossing engine is NOT something to be applauded- that's a bad way to run a business. Here's Eddie's 'great' F1 career stats: starts-132, wins-0, podiums-9 (6.8%), poles-0, DNF-89 (67.4%), career points-70. Yeah, great stats for a 12-year career (not). The main thing that keeps Eddie in the news is his loud mouth- the only mouth bigger than Cheever's is Eddie Irvine's, but at least Irvine has won real races!
