I lived in Denver for a long time and this is the best newspaper in Denver, which is sad. The local news section is not of high quality at all, it has light-weight stuff that you would expect out of a high school newspaper. This newspaper rarely does investigations and when it does it is explained too technically. The editorials are okay, but are not pursuasive. The newscats paper is moderate politically just like Metro Denver. The only good thing is the Sunday paper is only a dollar if it isnt being given away at stores.

A good paper, and superior in content to its semi-competing Rocky Mountain News. It does not quite reach the national relevance of the New York Times or Chicago Tribune, however, and has quite a surprising lack of local Denver information.

Decent. It is by no means a great newspaper, but it is decent. I like Woody Paige's sports columns though, they are a must read.

It seemed a little thin on substance to me when i read it. It did seem to do a good job of covering the local news, but national information is lacking compared to other big city papers.
