This is my favorite Lindsey novel...and I have read all 45! I love every bit of this story. Angel is my all-time favorite hero!

This is the 3rd book in this 3 book series. The order is Brave The Wild Wind, Savage Thunder & Angel. I absolutely loved this book. From the tiny little bit that we met Angel in book #2 I couldn't wait to read his story. He is a great Hero & Cassie gave me many laughs. Her pet panther made me smile many times as well. The romance in this book is wonderful & the storyline keeps you very interested. It was also a great bonus to catch up on the couples from book #1 & #2. Book #1 was good but these second two books were incredible. I HIGHLY recommend this 3 book series.

This series that starts with Brave the Wild Wind, then Savage Thunder, and lastly, Angel, is my favorite. I know everyone loves the Malory clan (I do too, especially The Magic of You), but I like these Western based novels better. Angel was my absolute favorite of the three. I wish Lindsey would write more Western inspired books. Seems to me that is her strong point. Angel is an intriguing character for the male lead, and Cassie is a lady most of us "girls next door" can sympathize with (we can't all be raving beauties can we? Alas not, but we can have shining great personalities like this heroin). Although the situation is pretty silly, it is an excellent entertaining read!

An unlikely pair, a mismatched couple that needed something that only the other could give .. Cassie Stuart is a meddling neighbor that is smack in the middle of a 25 year old feud. Both families are not just mad at each other they now have common ground with their hatred for the meddlesome Cassie Stuart. She has a good heart and calls on a peacemaker but what she finds is a loner gunfighter with no past and eyes the color of sin his name.. Angel Angel has no last name no family and few friends but he takes his debts serious After paying his debt to Colt Thunder (in Savage Thunder) Angel heads south to Texas to repay another debt . There he sets eyes on Cassie Stuart. He rather leave her to her own but duty calls him to stay and help the meddlesome girl I like the book it was a fast read JL jumps right into the story and leaves nothing out. My only qualms about the book was that I didn't feel the intense passion between Angel and Cassie, they meshed well enough with the exchanges they had with each other, but like I said I didn't feel the heat. The mysterious Angel pulled at my heart strings he wanted to love and be loved in return. Cassie loving heart was just what he needed. Read the book , its worth the time ... you'll laugh and sigh and want more...

This is my first western romance, and I was so impressed! The book is fantastic, full of feelings and passion, the way I want my books to be. You can't help wishing that men like Angel existed for real and that you might meet one someday. JL has a wonderful narative style and you come to feel for the Angel and Cassy. I realy couldn't see how those two could end up together, since their background is completely different, but it seemed so natural in the end. I stayed up until 3 in the morning because I could not put it down until I read the last page. This is one of the most exciting books I've read lately and I'm certainly coming back for more books of J Lindsay.
