Newlywed Game--I do not like the show because I believe it is degrading to the people on it and to the institution of marriage. By airing this show, the network has infused immorality into its otherwise wholesome line.
Recently, however, it has taken yet another step downward with its new commercials for the Newlywed Game. Even non-viewers of the show are now subjected to its peepshow brand of humor. In these spots, a woman, in an office
situation, is asked inappropriate questions about her love life with her husband.

I suppose that this sort of thing sells soap, so to speak. But at what cost. I am hoping that GSC can continue to challenge the mind and entertain
without seeking to compete with channels which are aimed at the lower levels to which people can descend.

I would request that if necessary this message be routed to the appropriate party.

When I was a kid, I had a teenaged babysitter who would come over to our house when my parents wanted an afternoon or a night out, throw me a comic book or some toy, throw my sister a doll or some toy, and plant herself down in front of the TV to watch this show-- this or "The Flying Nun". All I can remember of it is jackass couples embarrassing themselves for the voyeuristic entertainment of jackals like Bob Eubanks and my Coke-swilling babysitter. I never overcome my childhood distaste for either show.

Meh! Too many answered a question how they wanted to answer when they were supposed to guess how their spouse would answer their question.

Idealistic game show to see if the couples will stay in marriage. It is somewhat kooky, but very memorable.

I still watch the old ones from time to time but would love to see a new version.

this could be funny once in a while cuz you would not believe some of the contestants would give as answers. it made for some classic moments in game show history

This game show was so lame it made my stomach turn just watching it!

This show was watchable when Bob Eubanks would make the idiot contestants look stupid, which he did quite frequently!
