02/14/2001 | What child could resist the cute little engine in its effort to get over the hill with its precious cargo of dolls and toys. My children often joined in with the "I think I can refrain." Now in their twenties, they still remember this book (I promise they have not read it since them were five!). Who knows the refrain might still be getting them through the tough times.

02/14/2001 | Wow did I love this book growing up. "I think I can, I think I can" - the little engine towing the train up the giant hill... against all odds. Talk about an inspirational story for any little kid.
