Beautiful spot and the adrenaline capital of the world but Queenstown is still overrated. I hear it used to be a nice little resort town but now it is tour bus heaven. I find that I am always heading up the lake to Glenorchy to jet boat, hike, and horseback ride. Wish I could just stay there.

This is where I popped my bungee jump cherry. This place is heaven on earth. I don't know how you can head to this town and not have a good time. The kiwis are so laid back, so welcoming, and they set such a wonderful example for the type of attitude we should have in life.

This perfectly located scenic down in the heart of New Zealand's Southern Alps is perhaps one of the most stunning places on Earth. It has almost everything a tourist could want - a pristine lake, snow capped mountains with brilliant ski-fields, rugged canyons, the world's highest bungee jumping and few shops and hotels.

Queenstown has it all - romance tourism, adventure tourism, lakes, fiords, mountains, rivers, boats, shopping, great dining. Do not hesitate to make plans to visit Queenstown and the South Island.
