01/09/2006 | Very appealing to kids for some reason. I thought they would annoy everyone with the use of the word "Smurf" in every sentence of dialogue. They recently made news by making an ad that showed the village getting bombed. A few of the places this ad was scheduled to show are coup and AIDS places. I recently bought "Black Smurf". I looked him up on the net, and he is also known as "Angry Smurf". Apparently, the show is still big in some places overseas.

10/07/2005 | I loved this show, i dont see it anymore days, i miss all the old shows, ren and stimpie, ahhh real monsters, rockos modern day life, gumby and all the others, and now there gone............. they will always be remembered......... CHEers!

03/28/2005 | Yes, I am crazy. I love the Smurfs & I've lived with the ridicule for many years. Now at the age of 30 I still have a Papa Smurf in my bedroom (on a shelf you pervs!), a ceramic smurf bank and a couple other collectibles. If I ever find all the episodes on DVD they're mine (I found them once but they sold out before I could get them).

04/29/2004 | The death of great Saturday Morning cartoons seemed to coincide with the advent of the Smurfs. Coincidence...I think not. Horribly lame, witless, and deadly boring toon. The only thing worse than the Smurfs are the idiots on those VH1 I love (know nothing about) the '80s reminscing about them. DickDirk's theory is plausible. It was a show that offended humanity.

07/01/2001 | This used to be such a great show I loved it. my mum taped the episodes and i have watched them over and over again. When i watched the tapes later on i found out there were jokes in it that i didn't even noticed as a kid. which makes it a good cartoon for grown ups too, unlike loads of other crap.
The newer episodes suck though. All these travelling smurfs and that old yellow clothed smurf. Stupid new voices (in my language that is)

06/10/2001 | This show was so cool. I haven't seen the Smurfs in years. When I was a kid this was one of my favorite cartoons. Smurfs are little blue creatures that were always stopping Gargomel. He was always trying to capture the smurfs.
