Excellent book for children and adults even though a children's book. Very beautifully illustrated. Tackles life lessons.

I have owned this book for several years, and absolutely love the message it conveys about sharing, etc. I am a quilter, and it has inspired me to do more quilts for charity. I was surprised when a cousin who quilts told me that she had never read it. So I sent her a copy as a Christmas gift. She was thrilled, and has gotten several great ideas from it that apply to her work situation in her church. Besides a lovely message, the illustrations are first rate. I think every person on earth should read this book!!

This book has such a great story, guaranteed to make you cry or at least tear up. The illustrations are so bright and colorful. The story reminds me of the parable in the Bible of the "Young Rich Ruler" - it would be a great ending to the parable Jesus shared.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my Mother-in-law (who loves to make quilts as wedding presents and baby presents) and I think she liked the book a lot.

This is a most delightful story with a moral. I'm anxious to obtain the rest of the books in the series including the real patterns for the quilts in the books.
