I liked watching Garfield and Friends a lot. I was not really fond of the U.S. Acres segments that much. I have some of the shows on dvd.

I always loved Garfield! The character is funny and I always loved how he related to other characters around him.

I really liked this show the only reason that I gave it a four is beacuse I did not like the US Acres part. I loved Garfield and Odie. One of the better cartoons that I liked.

I remember it was really funny as a kid. I didn't care too much for the US Acres part, though.

Good, but not great. It gave kids a moving regular dose of Garfield, that they couldn't get in the papers. The bad part of it was that they split time in the show with U.S.Acres. Garfield is a big enough cartoon icon to have his only show. U.S.Acres was funny, but it did take away time from the main star garfield.

I remember watching this immortal cartoon on CBS Kids when I was little. The voice acting (led by Lorenzo Music) was great and the writing was top-notch. This cartoon was a spin-off of the long-running newspaper comic series that has been around for decades. Recently, the show has recieved two amazing DVD releases, which I now both own. Consistently enjoyable, the show is simply one of the best animated shows of all time.

Garfield and friends, I thought, was a very cleverly funny show. Garfields lazyness and Yodi's spunk made a perfect team. I still watch this cartoon and find it entertaing and amusing.

I wish I could still watch this show every saturday. I love Garfield. He is one of my favorite cartoon characters and whenever I do see it now I still crack up. Though I was never too fond of the "and friends" portion of the show, the regular Garfield part made it worth the wait.

One of the funniest cartoon series I've ever watched on Saturday mornings. Incase many of you don't know, the U.S. Farms segment was based on another Jim Davis comic strip. Garfield and Friends also made fun of elements and other cartoon series, such as Garfield saying that during a chase scene the same background was used many times, and the episode with the giant robots. Truly a classic series indeed!

I don't even like cats and I love Garfield! I read the comics and watch the specials and I used to watch the show. I didn't like that US Acres though.

Slow cartoon. I do not think that it appeals to kids too much anymore.

A very funny series that emerged from an un-funny comic strip. The humor is sometimes sharp and sometimes just plain goofy. The U.S. acres cartoons are wonderful. Wade the Duck is my favorite!!!

"Friends are there to help you get started, to give you a push on your way"... anyone remember the original theme to the show? I wonder why the reruns that originally used that one don't anymore... ah well. The show is basically divided into 2 parts--the Garfield segments, and the "Friends" segments, which takes place on a farm with a pig, rooster, duck, 2 sheep, a chick, and a walking egg (which was usually funnier than the Garfield segments, to be honest). This was a show that started out all right, but got worse over time, namely due to the same jokes being repeated over and over as the seasons went by. It was funny at first, but then the writers seem to run out of ideas or something, which should show since in the final season, they only put out half as many episodes as usual. It was funny at a time, though, and could be good for a laugh today in reruns, especially for some classic "Friends" segments, though in the end, it wasn't the cartoon it once was.
