She brings cute but nothing else to the table. Sorry Numbah, I don't think that Alba deserves to be rated higher than Cate Blanchett, Helen Mirren, or even Angelina Jolie.

Sexiest actress and coolest girl ever!!!

Dark Angel bought her to our attention, beautiful and "ballsy". Since, she has been in a variety of different movies aimed at different age groups and carried them all off well. She comes across as a lovely and genuine lady. The best part of the Deep Blue DVD was her talking about the making of the movie, well worth a look.

She's not just another pretty face. There's talent there to.

Her superficial face has me slightly deterred, rather than lured, as far as attraction goes, but I suppose that's my unconscious recollection of cheerleaders who are quick to reject. She is, however, an able actress, who's likely to make it big.... and I laugh, because as you may or may not know, she already has.

Quite gorgeous, but not a great actress. Was pretty good in Sin City though.

Some pretty harsh comments are being made about her acting ability, or lack thereof. I find these to be unfair.
She was only 17 when she started Dark Angel. She carried that show on her shoulders for 2 years. A lot to ask of someone that young. But she did it, and improved visibly with her acting.
Honey was a shaky movie. She was decent, but I think it was a little to early for her at 21 to be headlining a movie.
I thought she did a fine job in Into The Blue.
In Sin City and Fantastic Four, she did well as an actress. She just did a good job. I wasn't left questioning her abilities afterwards. She was beautiful as always, but it was obvious her acting chops had taken a major leap up from earlier efforts.
Anyway, everyone better get used to seeing more of her. She has SEVEN(!) movies planned for 2007. I think we will get a good idea of what she is or isn't capable of. Can't wait.

I do give her some points for being great to look at. Part of being an actor/actress is looks. Which she has.

As an actress, I suppose she's ok. I wouldnt know though, because I cant get past the fact that shes so incredibly beautiful. She could be the worst actress in the whole world, and I would'nt care one bit.

She was good in Dark Angel but all the film roles she has done lately only show off her body. If that's how she wants to be known then fine but if she wants to be taken seriously as an actress she should try taking parts where she is actually required to act.

Way too many people are rating her on her looks. If this was a acting competition, she'd lose. (Not entirly, but certainly not in the top 5 lke she is here). She's being judged mainly on her looks, because most every adolescent boy that comes on this site, rats her based on attractivness, which is not knocking them, because she is very beautiful. But, my rating being from a 16 year old girl, I rate her a 1, because I think her acting is terrible.

I think that Jessica Alba might be a good actress if she actually got a chance to have more serious roles. I mean people are more intersted in her body than how she acts. All she really wants is to be recognised as a good actress.

Words I'd use to describe her: cute, adorable. Words I would not use to describe her: sexy, hot. Everybody talks about her sex appeal but to me, she looks 16 and is too sweet for sex appeal.

She's a brain-dead actress that has no talent whatsoever. I couldn't imagine dealing with her. I wish her Hollywood career would just end now.

i put all 5 beacause i think she acts that well. some people think she is only in show biz because of her looks dont get me wrong! she is the most beautiful woman to this day, but 4 me her is just as good as here looks.

Better then a mac $ cheese sandwich. This women is beautifull, she absolutly sucks at acting. Fortunatly for her shes hot like burrito from Joses you know what im sayin, as far as weather goes it sunny with a possible high of 75.

Picked her as a future muffin during her FLIPPER days, and that uncanny call will be further justified after SIN CITY comes out. Will the Oscar elude her? Perhaps. But in the meantime, she'll keep popping up in better rolls that'll either lead somewhere, or make the powers-that-be keep scratching their balding heads as to what to do with her. Almost painfully sexy, which'll probably hold her back. Might break away Jen Connelly-style, but'll take a wicked-smart agent to pull it off.

Girl looks like she has down syndrome! look at those low eyes, and that mouth/chin is hella square! I really don't think she's even SLIGHTLY attractive, and she's not even a really good actress.

I think they sound do another season of dark angel. My friend gave me the DVD's to watch and i got hooked. I think another season would be great. I just cannot get enough of dark angel, it makes me feel good about myself. Who's with me on this, huh?????
