Teacher and student meet. Teacher and student fall in love. Teacher and student have a happy ending. Not really. This series starts out with the two main characters REALLY disliking each other. Hae-Young is a tall, shapely woman who distrusts men and happens to be very serious when it comes to being a teacher. Jin-Ho is her student who seems to have only one thing on his mind - film. He does not even notice her beauty unless he is accidently running into the women's restroom or grabbing her from behind. No, really, that was an accident also. Jin-Ho does not even notice that his hot female fellow student has the hots for him. He steals, sure, watches films banned in Japan, but he is not the normal geek or pervert of most manga series. He has the teacher drunk and passed out on her bed and what does he do? He walks away to look at camera equipment! He has bad grades, no interest in girls and seems willing to just float about in life. Of course the fact he even skips classes pisses off Hae-Young even more! The artwork is equal to some of the best pin-up artwork you can get in US or in Europe. Every woman in this manga looks like she will fall over at any second. Maybe that is where they got the title from? I may continue to read the series, just to see how the two fall in love. Or will they? There is nothing to suggest, at this point, that they will link up. Warning, there are some adult scenes which kids should not see. It says 13 and up, but I would go as far as to say 16 or up.

I just read this and I have to say it a very good story and very nicely published. The main characters are developing well for the first volume. They have depth, are realistic and believable. Secondary characters, well there is a reason they are secondary, but not quite so totaly undeveloped as is often the case. The relationship between the two main charachters is all about tension. It is not simply a "teacher seduces student" story. Nothing like that at all. The main characters are if anything strongly principled and self-controled individuals and much of the tension generated is in them trying to live up to their own self-expectations and societies expectations while an unwanted and unsought relationship develops from fateful proximity. This is primarily a drama with romantic elements being a contributing part of the storyline from my reading of volume 1. What develops in the following volumes (5 volumes published so far in Korean and French; English publication is only up to vol. 2) I'll see when I get my copy of volume 2 and I fully expect to order volume 3 when it becomes availible. As far a binding quality, well you won't ever mistake these for those manga you find racked up by the shelf at Barnes & Noble. These are Korean graphic novels (manhwa) so the artwork is drawn from left to right which makes it a much more intuitive read for me. The US publisher included a very nice color dustjacket and the first 2 pages are color on glossy paper. The publishers website claimed they were printed on woodpulp free paper so I'm not as worried about pages yellowing over time.

I meant to write this as a review, but instead had it as comment to another review. Anyhow... Jin Ho, the protagonist, is 19 years old, which is a common age to be as a senior in a Korean high school. He is caught off guard as his new homeroom teacher is a woman he met earlier. You are considered an adult when you are 18 in the United States, albeit the maturity level amongst these "adults" vary. Such is the case of Jin Ho who is mature beyond his years (although he is horrible at school matters). I can see why the context of this story may deter further releases since it is considered taboo for a student and teacher to have any sort of relationship. I do not condone these types of relationships, but he is an adult by all means and he is graduating the very year he meets his teacher. It transcends the student-teacher role into a man-woman relationship. I won't spoil much, but the role of student-teacher gets reversed when it comes to learning to love. This is a beautiful and heart-warming story. Character development is strong and believable. There is no overt nudity or fan service, probably close to nil if I can recall. This story is written and drawn very well. In Korea, we are awaiting Volume 9, so just hang in there and contact the publisher or licenser to bring over more volumes. There is a gradual (slow and steady) build-up of the relationships amongst all the main characters, which keeps the story suspenseful. People who enjoy mature, romance manga/manwha will really enjoy/love this work. People looking for over the top nudity/sexuality should look elsewhere. To comment on another's post here: There is a plot. A young man starts to develop feelings for his teacher. He knows it is wrong/taboo. Does he try to pursue it or should he stick to the girls he knows? Should anyone in love settle or should they fight for what they want? No, I do not condone pedophilia (which this book isn't) or the sort. He is 19 and she only a few years older! It's plausible, possible, and wonderful. Try it!

That'll never see fruition here in the States past the second released book. Face it, it's a teenager (though he's a year close to adult) and a teacher implied love story.
