I like Carvel. It's a guilty pleasure. You probably shouldn't eat it all the time. I looked it up because I wanted to make sure that it didn't have gelatin. That is mixed in with some of them. It has a chart where it says it does not have animal products. So I am pretty thrilled with this one.

A metro NYC classic. Flying Saucers and those cakes with the tranlucent colored glue-like toppings. Plus, Tom Carvel was cool..although he sounded like he scraped his throat on a garnet board.

Good icecream for a chain. The best chain around ( except for maybe Ben&Jerrys) Great place.

Ok ice cream. Very average quality, with not much of a variety of flavors. Unless you're willing to eat straight vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry, you won't want to be here.

I personally don't like ice cream, but my mother does and one of her favorites is Carvel ice cream.
