I hate hunters, that neon piece of plastic crap that is Las Vegas and most especially morons in sparkly little outfits who think they have some kind of right to exploit animals. I would never have wished this guy any harm, but I find it as difficult to feel pity for him as I would a bullfighter, a race car driver, a mountain climber or any other jerk who plays the odds of nature for recognition or big bucks.

Roy Horn paid the price for denying a wild animal its rightful place and appropriate environment. Take such a creature out of the wild and you run the risk of the animal getting stressed out by foreign and obnoxious surroundings: a claustrophic Siberian tiger is a very dangerous, cornered beast. They may seem pacific and in control from outward appearances, but who can gauge the internal workings of such a critter? The passive cruelty inflicted on these show animals, especially the ones that by their very nature need to roam and hunt, can result in a backlash that no one would want to be around. In addition, one doesn't know how these beasts are treated behind the scenes, what kind of tanquilizers or whatever are used on them, and wild animals that are medicated into docility can be especially dangerous if something ticks off inside of them. Maybe this unfortunate incident will put an end to the dubious practice of using creatures of the wild as public entertainment/freak show attractions in that Zoo for Losers known as Las Vegas. I hope so. Those magnificent creatures deserve better than that. The best thing about this is a world class exloiter of animals finally got his comeuppance, dragged away like he was a ragdoll.

Kind of goes without saying that if you mess with animals like tigers, you are taking a risk of being mauled. Common sense if you ask me. And for all the people carrying on about whether or not they were abused, how would you know? Do any of you hang out at Sigfried and Roy's houses and watch their animals every day? No, you don't know so quit acting like you know if they are being fed like royalty or drugged up because you have no clue. I guess some of us hate hypocrisy more than others.

How ignorant are you people? Those tigers are worth millions of dollars. They are treated like royalty and probably are better fed than any of you fools crying "animal abuse". Do you honestly believe that Seigfried and Roy, who make millions of dollars and are under constant scrutiny as celebrities, would take these tigers who are directly responsible for their wealth and the wealth of the Mirage business concern, would abuse their investment? Does that make SENSE to you? If I operated an auto show, do you think I would treat my show vehicles well or poorly? Think carefully, if you're able. Most of you are foolish children with no sense at all making blanket statements in the name of the fad of the month. Think before you speak.

Endangered Animals are not meant to be locked up in cages where they sit and sleep in their own shit, urine, vomit, and lice. They are also not meant to be trained to dance in costumes for little kids. White lions and white Siberian tigers are endangered. Don't limit their numbers. Not to mention that the tigers were being whipped in order to be trained. No wonder why Roy got chomped.

We saw the show about three years ago. The animals appeared to be drugged and we could see stagehands poking the animals with long sticks to get them moving or face the correct direction. I think Roy got what was coming to him.

We saw the Sigfried and Roy show just 2 weeks ago. We truly enjoyed every minute of the show. We are just heart sick about the tragic accident yesterday when Roy was attack by a tiger on stage. Our prayers are with him. May god watch over this wonderful performer. Ruth Ann
