Unlike 90% of movies produced nowadays, Star Trek 2009 was NOT a disappointment. The only disappointment was when it ended. I could have sat through another 2 hours of these characters. I am a Star Trek fan, and I was pretty impressed with these young'uns. Wait, wait...I'm getting something...more prequels...many, many more!
(we will come to find, eventually, how Scotty picked up his little friend) :D

LOL :) VERY good movie! You don't have to know CRAP about star trek to understand what was going on with this movie! Its very well explained, VERY witty and can make anyone a die hard star trek fan :) THIS is what Star Trek should have been all along!

I must admit though, the opening scene of kirks dad dying.. is a bit sad :(

I liked it. Had the energy of and the affable far-fetchedness of the Bourne franchise and deepened its own history, nicely. No spoilers from me.
