Somebody who fits into the "mom" category isn't really a fan, but will cheer for the home team and know the names of only the star players. She will likely have to ask what just happened a few times during the game, which is a forgivable nuisance.

She's normally ok, as long as she's not the no contact type of mom who lets her spawn run amok. Frequently seen sheparding a covey of under-eights, clearly from the same t-ball team, all of whom believe they're going to 1. catch a foul ball 2. that Albert Pujols will hear them and wave or 3. claim that they saw Carl Pavano throw a no-hitter. Something of a long suffering type, but harmless.

Moms are generally cool as long as they keep their little trolls in line. She can be irritating as she herds her brood and they misbehave, but then again you can count on mom to be honest about passing you your beer and change. . .
