I hate the BCS. I want a playoff. In 2003 USC was cheated and Oklahoma didn't even belong here. It should've been USC and LSU. LSU were the real National Champs because they crushed Oklahooma and were better than USC in trems of talent and a lot of things. 2004 is definitely the BCS's biggest folly. Cal was cheated out of the Rose Bowl because of Texas. Cal deserved better. Oh yeah, they go crushed by the Red Raiders. I'm not done yet. Auburn also got robbed. They instead faced V Tech in the Sugar Bowl. They almost lost to the Hokies and their running game got shut down. USC slaughtered OU 55-19. They didn't even belong in the NC game. In 2005, the BCS made another folly. They made Texas #1 over USC. Until they got the #1 back from UT. THE BCS HAS GOT TO GO!

Playoffs will turn college football into the super bowl Playoffs will still have teams feeling like they were cheated! What if there is a 16 team playoff and the #17 team beats the #16 team in the reg season, and the #16 team wins the natl championship thru a playoff system? Was #17 cheated cause they missed the playoff by 1 spot?

10/22/2004: Truly not the way it is supposed to be last year, but at least there were not multiple champs like the old way. Comparing this to the old one, this is more foolproof despite that it had been fooled around to correct what happened last year. Update: It has done it again! I was wrong about being foolproof as Auburn and Cal have been left out from their expectations. (For Cal, they were left out entirely.) I removed a star because of this and since #6 Utah is facing a measly #21 Pitt.

I am the BCS's biggest supporter. Only 1 true mistake in 6 years. That's the same number as the electoral college has spit out.

I was worried the second they decided to use math to determine a championship. Its gotta happen on the field, and last years split title was a monumental failure of the new system.
