The worst are those theft-proof carts that are made to stop working out of a certain range, but in fact begin to jam up the moment you set foot out of the store. That was an invention we didn't need. Try pushing one of them through the unplowed snow, anyway ...

I use to have to fill a cart completely up and then some when I lived out of town, but thank goodness I only live about five minutes from Wal-mart, and I never have to worry about doing that anymore.

Never a problem for me...I don't buy that much at a time! LOL...however I see a lot of Mexicans there with Mom, Dad, and 50 rugrats...dragging two and sometimes three carts overflowing...kind of funny...and only at Wal Mart, never at the other grocery stores. OH and here in the south they are "buggies"...been here almost 18 years and can't bring myself to call a shopping cart a buggy! I refuse to conform!!!

I am a consistant shopper. I'll never wait until I need so much that the cart won't move.

i usually do not get so much i cannot move the cart. the annoying part is when I get a cart with a wobbly wheel. or a squeaky wheel. that does not cooperate in the first place.

I suppose this might be a challenge for smaller women but I've never had the problem. My experience is that if its got wheels.. it'll move.
