This is a fantastic idea that's only major drawback is that the cost to make a Geothermal Exchanger is expensive to make, but once it's up it requires very little maintainance. Let's get this one put in LA and we'll power the city.

I am in a seismically active area, but as Genghis said, that's the limitation.

This is great if you are in a seismic active area; unfortunatley 99.9% of the country is elsewhere.
