I may regret something I said they took the wrong way. but considering that could happen every time someone opens their mouth it could get awful quiet. besides there are some people you cannot say anything to without them getting upset.and if someone obviously does not like  you no matter what you say will be wrong.i guess it depends on the person. I would not intentionally be rude, and I know I have been offended on occasion by someone's remark.especially if they seemed to be on purpose.
