I ordered a Halloween costume and it arrived incomplete. I always get a busy signal when attempting to call SMI and Zoogster to request the missing articles in time for Halloween. Finally, I faxed them and still never received a response. They charged me full price for 1/2 a costume. I will never buy from them again. I just don't understand how they can fly under the rador pertaining to customer service?

how do i get ahold of them? Ive been calling them for days? and its ALWAYS BUSY!!! I even found another number through 411 at their GA address and its busy too! Im feaking out, i just saw this site and had no idea it was this bad. I ordered 3 weeks ago :-( And I live somewhere that has 1 halloween store which is sold out. IM SCREWED IF I CANT GET AHOLD OF THEM! I hate this company!

This company is by far the worse! You place your order, they charge your card. And they claim they will not charge your card until the order will be shipped. I wish I would have seen this site before hand. I would have neverrrrrrrrrr placed an order here! I am so doing a charge back on these assholes! I never even got an email saying they were out of stock, had to call numerous times and then be placed on hold for about 20 min! What kind of company are they running again? Yeah I'll be sure to tell everyone never to do business with them!

Ordered on 10/21. Site clearly says "SAME DAY SHIPPING" and "WILL NOT CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD UNTIL ORDER SHIPS". My credit card was charged that day. A week later, three days before I needed my costume, I was notified by email that they were out of stock and that my credit card would be refunded. I have yet to see that refund. ** DO NOT RELY ON THIS COMPANY FOR A HALLOWEEN COSTUME! **

I just received my costume, and it is the ugliest thing I have ever seen. The size is way too big, and it is made with mismatched material. It is not even close to the picture displayed. The company does not allow returns and it makes no excuses for the quality (or lack thereof) of there inventory. They accepted my money and expect me to be happy with a smelly, ugly rip-off. No wonder they have no reviews available on zoogster.com. Please if you read any good reviews don't believe them, this is the worst experience I have ever had. Ruined Halloween and its still a week away. Very Sad Costumer!

This is the worse....I repeat worst company ever!!! I'm so sad that I had to find out the hard way! I never delt with a company so bad! The reviews that were negative were 100% correct! The great one's are probably from the staff. I got my costume and its the worst looking thing ever! I called a number of times and nothing but busy busy busy. I finally got through and the women told me tuff and hung up....WHOOOO DOES THAT!!!I'm going to Fox 5....SHAM SHAM SHAM....I can see the BBB is doing shit, cause they are still in business taking peoples money!

Zoogster Costumes is the worst company to buy costumes from. Their costumes might be cheap, but you won’t get them. The costume I dreamed about never made it and I was never able to get a hold of their customer service. I called many times their only phone number listed on their website and the line was always busy. I also emailed them many times and never got a response. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and calling my credit card today. I wish I read the reviews before I used their business. I also noticed that all the reviews that say Zoogster Costumes is a great business are written by the same person. I am a language expert and I bet you that one person from Zoogster is writing those positive reviews to mislead more innocent people. The bottom line is DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ZOOGSTER COSTUMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well...terrible at the moment. I ordered some items on 9/15. Finally, around the beginning of October, wondering where they were, I called the company. They said the package was in a nearby town with UPS and that delivery had been attempted twice and the package had been refused. That was news to me, as I had not seen hide nor hair of my order. I called UPS and, yes, the package was there, and supposedly some problem with the mailing address on the package, but per their policy, it would have to go back to the company (instead of sending it to me 180 miles away they have to send it back halfway across the country - not happy with UPS either.) I called Zoogster back and asked what I should do, as I was on a timeline for my show. They suggested cancelling the first order and re-ordering the items. That sounded logical to me. I asked if the full price of the order - including shipping - would be refunded. Well, that would be a problem refunding the shipping price, and there would also be a re-stocking fee as I had provided them with an incorrect address and that was why UPS couldn't deliver! I said I had my order right in front of me, and the address on the printout was correct. The incorrect address was on the package, which was Zoogster's fault. He said they would have to wait and see when the package got back to them. Will be checking back on that, and needless to say, I re-ordered my items elsewhere! Definitely wish I had of seen these reviews before I ordered!

I read all of the reviews on this page before placing my order with Zoogster, and to be honest, I was VERY concerned about actually going through with my order. Some of the things I read made me worry that my costume would never ship, my identity would be stolen, etc. etc.HOWEVER, I had no reason to worry!! Zoogster sent me a confirmation e-mail as soon as my information was processed, but they ALSO sent me a UPS e-mail that could be used to track the progress of my package. My costume was shipped just 1 or 2 business days after I ordered it, and it arrived within one week. It was in perfect condition and included everything it was supposed to include.I would order from Zoogster again without hesitating, and I wanted to post this review so I could calm anyone else who feels as worried as I once was.In order to ensure that everything goes smoothly for you, I would suggest that you order your costume WELL IN ADVANCE to Halloween! It only makes sense that orders would get severely messed up in the few days leading up to Halloween. Just give Zoogster enough time to process your order in a timely fashion, and I'm sure that everything will be fine!!

This was the only website that I could find that has walking music. They help you make the selection that best suit your ability. My order was sent to me in Europe, much sooner that I expected it to arrive. I am enjoying my music and I am online now ordering more music and other items. I would highly recommend this company to my friends and colleagues and all shoppers looking for a great company who stand behind their word. The prices are also great !!! Ordered more costumes from Zoogster.... they arrived exactly within the timeframe I selected, and were a big hit at the party..... We love this company, and will continue to use them over and over again!

To be clear, this is an email to/ review of: http://www.zoogstercostumes.com/ I ordered a costume on Monday the 27th, chose express shipping option as i need the costume for a party the 31st. Received a confirmation on the 27th that the order with be delivered by 7pm the 31st via express shipment. I thought, OK, i did use next day express, but thats fine, the 31st will work. It is now the 31st, i did not receive the costume today, just reviewed my credit card online to find that a credit was made to my card on the 30th, probably because they are out of stock ?? who knows. Why didnt we get a call??? Now it is 4pm on Halloween and i have no costume, the night is ruined because we did not receive a call or even an email regarding the out of stock/credit. So the new plan is now for me to stay home with granny and the kids and my wife goes to the costume (only) party alone. I suppose i could dress up as a pissed off customer. ?? May not seem like a big deal to whom ever is reading this, but this party was important. My business is represented and i am expected to be there. I realize i placed an order the week of Halloween and would have ordered sooner if a costume was needed but this party was sprung on us and i am a last minute contributer. Ii did choose next day air on Monday, Halloween is now here and its Friday. The worst of the experience, I called zoogster this afternoon, customer service told me to expect the package by 7pm, she did not bother to tell me the order had been cancelled. No notification email no call, just canceled. My credit card shows a full credit made by zoogsterlate yesterday, i ordered monday, you could have called me tuesday to inform you were out of stock, perhaps suggested an alternate costume, i would have been cool with that. I will nto be doing business with http://www.zoogstercostumes.com/ ever again. 1 Star = Worst possible service ever.

I didn't want to give them ANY stars, but had to give them at least 1 to post my review. I wish I could have found this site prior to ordering from Zoogster! I found this site when the money was taken out of my account, and was eager to get them on the phone because I had lost all hope in them as a company. The money had been taken out of my account for 4 days (the phone was always busy) and when I called I was told; "The costume you ordered is sold out and that's why it didn't ship". Ok, so why was the money taken out of my account? This company is complete BS and I have told everyone about this nightmare of a company! I doubt that I'll see my money and will be surprised if they actually return it within 48hrs as promised.

i ordered my halloween costumes three days ago and have already received my order. when i placed my order over the phone, the phone staff was polite and the order was shipped that same day. all of the items i ordered were shipped in great condition. one of the costumes was a little large, but we were able to modify the costume. it looks awesome. we will definitely be ordering again next year.

I was weary about ordering from Zoogster b/c of a few reviews i had seen, but cheap prices and one stop shop for a family of five made my decision to go ahead. We received our order on time and with no problems except that my 6 year olds was too small (sizing was definately wrong, she is rather petite)but I called immediately, and they were very nice, and said the exchange was not a problem, and were already sending my order out before they even got the small one back! Maybe someone had a lesson in customer service....So far so good!

When I read these reviews, after I had already place my order, I became severely worried. I placed my order on a Thursday and promptly called on Monday to confirm my order. I spoke with Brandy, who was mildly polite and I gave her my confirmation number. She told my my order had been shipped out and that according to UPS, it would be delivered on the 14th, which it was. My costume was new and what I expected. I had no issues. Thank you!

I would rather jump in a bath tub full of sanpping turtles than to every talk to their customer servie again!!! First sent me the wrong costume! They lied, They then yelled at me, Then hung up, and now expect me to just wait for a refund after i ship it back. They will just make up another story and say they never got while i have a tracking number in hand. These people need help I am calling BBB in the morning. and my credit card company tomorrow! I wish i knew of this site before i bought from them. I just found it by searching their real company name!!!

This company is unbelieveably terrible. My costume doesn't fit, it smells like sweat. If you call, just hope whoever answers the phone (Country Brandy) is in a good mood that day. Is she the only one there? You might get a refund a year later, I suggest disputing your credit card charge. I later went with Buy Costumes and had perfect experience.

I recently purchased a Pirates of The Carribien costume for my son from SMI Sales/Zoogster.com and after 3 weeks it arrives, used! I couldnt belive they sold a stained custome for full price! I immidietly contacted them, and they told me that the person I needed to speak to was not in, so I left my number and information and that person never called back, but to make matters worse my credit card was billed 3 times and I never recieved any credit ( I have since disputed the charge with Mastercard). The credit card company advise that I try and contact the retailer so I tried calling back after a few days and the person who called herself Brandy told me SIR there is nothing I can do, I just work here. Can you believe that? She said she worked there and she didnt want to help. All of the sudden this guy picks up the phone and starts yelling at me and he says YOU HAVE TO QUIT CALLING HERE, you IDIOT! I said I am trying to return the stained used custome that I purchased and I want to let you know that you charged my MasterCard 3 times. He said go get yourself a lawyer!
I sent back the custome but they refused the return and now I am currently disputing the charges with the credit card.
Stay away from ZOOGSTER.com SMI SALES!

Zoogster Costumes is fantastic. They helped me out tremendously when I was in a real bind. I needed 12 of the same costume for a play and they only had 8 in stock. Zoogster was the only company that had any in stock at all. I called and they figured out a way to get me all 12 and in time for my play. Thanks so much for the excellent customer service.

I purchased costumes accessories from them many times and they illegally charged my account! two months after my purchase! They claimed it was shipping fee UPS supposedly charged to correct an address. My address was correct the whole time and they charged me. I had to call them so many times to get my credit. Their website is not safe! after purchasing from them, fraudulent transactions came through! BUYERS BEWARE!!!

The owner of the company is gentleman named Bruce Blackman (may be an alias). His supervisors, Keith and Brandy, are abrasive and curt. Their costumes are shoddy and stained. DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. The owner, once I informed him that recording and listening to my call without informing me was in violation of federal wiretap laws, said that he "was not going to waste his time talking to an idiot". That, I most certainly am not. My fervent hope is this company is shutdown and zoogster.com is permanently closed. I suggest everyone call the BBB in Georgia, and perhaps the States Attorney as well. People like this should not be allowed on the phone and the positive reviews on this website were posted by employees of the company. They are con artists and deserve bankruptcy, shame, and depending on how many people they have ripped off, jail. With luck people will simply stop doing business with these jerks.

This was the worst policy ever. They do not accept returns at all! I ordered a costume from amazon.com that came from Zoogster, expecting to have a return policy. I bought two costumes in different sizes and planned to return one. Now that it is impossible. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ZOOGSTER

ZoogsterCostumes.Com/SMI Sales: Excellent customer service! I placed an order last night and then realized that the costume was not the correct one after I submitted my order. Due to the negative reviews and their exchange/no refund policy I thought for sure I would wind up with the costume I didn't want. However, I sent them an email right away and four hours later their customer service replied telling me that my order had been successfully cancelled and that I would not be billed. Phew! What a relief and thank you to great customer service!

Now the line has been busy for an hour, and I cannot get an email response, all of this during normal business hours. I wish I would have seen this site prior to placing my order

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I swear they are a scam. I placed an order with them on Oct 10 and ordered basic shipping (6-10 days). Here it is, 2 weeks later, I have recieved nothing and the company will not answer their phones. The phone lines ring busy. Yesterday I found their local number and called, a girl answered and told me she would have to call me back once she found the tracking number. I have yet to get a phone call and it is almost 24 hours later. My credit card was charged the amount 3 days later, and I have yet to receive a shipping notice with tracking number OR be able to speak with someone regarding my order. I am frustrated and would not wish this upon anyone else. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY...It must be a scam....

Be careful when ordering from zoogstercostumes.com (SMI Sales). Be sure to review the exchange policies carefully because it is very hard to get any help if you are unsatisfied with the product. I ordered a costume from them that was sized toddler 2-4. My son just turned 2 so it should have fit him just fine but it was at least 2 inches too short. When I called the company to exchange it for a bigger size, they were sold out and refused to take a return. I can't believe that this company will not take back this costume when the sizing was so incorrect and when they are sold out of the next size.

I am a very satisfied customer. I placed an order with ZoogsterCostumes.com (SMI Sales) on September 29, 2006. After placing the order I found numerous negative customer reviews which caused me to worry and panic that I had made a bad decision in ordering from this company. However, my fears would soon be dispelled. I received an email from Zoogster three days later, on October 2nd, in reference to my order being shipped through UPS. The email included a delivery date of October 4th, a UPS shipment tracking number and a reference number. I received the package on October 4th, as promised. The package contained exactly the items I ordered. I am completely satisfied with the professionalism and expedited service of ZoogsterCostumes.com (SMI Sales). I would definitely recommend and use this company again.

I purchased my costumes from Zoogster, and recieved EXACTLY what I ordered. These costumes are excellant. I must say that I am glad that I didnt pay attention to these comments below. These people obviously dont understand that during the halloween season, customer service to a costume shop is going to be hard to get! I will definitely order from zoogster again!!

I purchased a costume from Zoogster on Sept.22/05 and was never notified that it was backordered, I had to call to find that out. They proceeded to tell me that they were expecting a shipment from the company and our costume would be there on Friday. I called on Friday and they did not get it yet, I was told to call back on Monday and so I did. Monday they said it was there and I should get an email mess. from UPS the next day, well say the least I didn't receive it. I tried to call continusly for the remainder of the week and only could get a busy signal or it would ring then go busy. On Monday,today, I called time after time and even had a friend trying, after a couple hours I got through and was on hold for another hour. They told me it was shipped and gave me a UPS tracking number, I called UPS and they said they had not received it yet to call them back. Yes I did, after several tries again I got through and was on hold for 45 mins. I told the sales girl that we were having a Halloween party the 22 and would not receive the costume until the 24 according to UPS. She said she would take of it and call me back. Well she did call back to let me know she would call me later to tell me how much more I had to pay for second day air. I could not believe my ears and said I ordered this a month ago and was suppose to get it in 7 to 10 days. She told me they were not going to eat that it was my problem. I said I was never notified that it was backordered and then once they got it in they did not send it as I was told and she said they are busy.*Not if I can help it I will tell everyone I know and email never to buy from them.* She says my other choice would be to not except the package and they would only charge me the original shipping price, so even though they screwed up royally I am suppose to pay the shipping and buy another costume for my daughter from somewhere else and pay air freight to them because it will take over a month to get the costume from them. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that they don't have one, only the owner and he would never talk to a customer. The sad thing is I have to tell my 7 year old daughter that the costume that she had been sooo excited about won't be the one she wears because companies that are big get there because they are greedy and don't care about the ones that bought and got them to where they are now.Thats just really sad to be that way.

I bought a folding plastic rolling crate from these people. The item arrived broken and when we called to return it we got a very combative and rude person on the other end who refused to give her last name - her first name is Ann, claimed to not have a supervisor and also claimed that the company has no business license number! They have no published return policy and are extremely rude to their customers. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!! I'M NOT EVEN SURE THEY ARE OPERATING LEGALLY IF THEY HAVE NO BUSINESS LICENSE!!

Poor Quality Products with service to match... I purchased household products (rubber stair treads) from this company that were described as suitable for in/out door use... The mats gave off a very strong chemical odor and would only be suitable for in door use in an oil refinery or waste treatment facility... When we contacted smisales by telephone we were told THE COMPANY HAS A NO-RETURN POLICY WITH NO EXCEPTIONS (the return policy information is only available via the telephone not on the web site)... When we asked to speak with a manager we were told there weren't any, we asked for the name of the president or owner so we could send a letter of complaint... We were told the wasn't any president but maybe Vivian was the owner... When we asked for Vivian's last name they couldn't tell us... The old saying buyer beware certainly apply's to smisales.com' of Alpherta Georgia... Shop there only if you enjoy shabby products and even shabbier service...
