There is little, yet much, I can add to the comments that proceeded mine. Let none forget that Buck is also a brilliant lyricist and vocalist as well, penning and singing such timeless BOC classics as Perfect Water, I Love the Night, Deadline, Mirrors, Dance on Stilts, and Pocket, as well as a few diamonds in the rough whioch can be heard on his solo album, Flat Out. As these other fans have been quick to point out, however, Mr. Roeser's forte is in his technically proficient, elegant, and somehow incredibly fluid guitar style. Unfortunately, in recent years Buck Dharam has been consistently overlooked and often omitted from 'greatest gutarist of all time' ranking and polls! This is not a condemnation of his abilities, but rather a sad commentart on the idiots and supposed know-it-alls that pass over him. Without question, in my mind, Donald Roeser is one of the greatest guitarists of all time, and certainly my all-time favorite. There isn't a solo he has performed, in studio, or live, that doesn't demonstrate his mastery and thoughtfulness in the way it is performed and constructed. Both he and his bandmates deserve far more credit and recognition for more than 35 years of brilliant music making!

Buck Dharma is one of the greatest guitar players to ever live. No only is he techniqely profecient but he plays with this style and grace that is just hard to describe. His playing sends chills up and down my spine.

Buch Dharma is probably the best guitar player alive and is in top 5 that ever lived. He has been consistantly ranked high in just about every guitar magazine ever published. This is one hell of a solo.

Easily one of the top 10 living guitarists. Blue Oyster Cult still tours and his playing is very sharp. All you have to do is listen to and see The Last Days of May on the DVD entitled A Long Day's Night
