When I have to look up the meaning of "Character" Lets just say I won't be posting on this list no more.

I think the character comes into play when the financial shit hits the fan, actually.

I don't think you can honestly sell this one, unless by financial irresponsibility one means fraud or other criminal activity.

A large percentage of North Americans are in financial difficulty to one degree or another, many through no fault of their own, and others because of an inability to manage money well. While that may be hole in their life-skill set, I fail to see that it shows a character weakness.

At a young age, this is really not an indication of bad character, because financial responsibilty is something that is learned with time. At an older age, it may be an indication that there are problems in someones life, that may or may not indicate bad character.

No. I've met nice people that just don't have much discipline or talent with money. . .but that doesn't make them bad people.
