One of the most brilliant Philosophers but I like 'Seneca' more. Said: Controdictions show something is most likely not true. If you have sufficient evidence for something then you may regard it as true, even if it cannot be proven (epecially if you have at least two of the following backing it up: all evidence to the contrary has been shown to be disproven, spacial logic, mathermatics, most anecdotal evidence favors, experiance of the majority, ...). For some of the evidence to the second reason he regards (the existance of) God as proven. PS. Don't believe what Russell says about Leibniz as he contrdicts Leibniz's translations and everyone elses comments about him.

Brilliant mystic insight, quantum mechanics before its time. Genius in many fields, physics, religion, military, political (center-right), mathematics (calculas), ecconomics etc. Invented a calculating machine that could do sqaure roots. 'All complex things are made up of simple things.' Rationalist who belived in the Absolute Spirit (God). I disagree with him however on atoms having non-sentient souls
