He's very talented but I cannot take Styx at all seriously. They were always super pretentious and his fey vocals did nothing to dispel this perception. Understand, I like Styx as on occasional guilty pleasure, but they really are ridiculous.

Powerful voice, great song writer and an excellent keyboard artist. One of the best rock voices ever.
