01/03/2006 | Even if it's not Halloween I still hate getting literature of any kind that is meant to change my way of thinking. That goes double for those travel sized bibles that were forced on me on my way to class.

07/19/2005 | It seems like there is at least one person who hands out the religious pamphlets out when my kids used to go out.to their credit they also gave candy. I am not thrilled to get these in their bags. We just put them aside.

07/19/2005 | I always hated this, when I was younger and I don't like it any more, now that I'm older. If you disagree with the holiday, then why would you participate in any form? And why would you attempt to detract from the enjoyment of other people? Particularly kids. They, for the most part, have no idea about the origins of Halloween, to them it's all about the candy.

07/19/2005 | I knew some people who did this. They were against celebrating the holiday so they used it as a way to get the word out about how bad they thought it was. They weren't completly out of focus since they also passed out a piece of candy with each one. I don't suppose it hurt anyone - except whoever had to pick them up all over the neighborhood the next day.

12/31/2004 | When my son went out trick or treating at about 8 years old, some jerk gave him a pamphlet telling him he was going to hell. I was some kind of pissed and I told the jerks. It scared him to death and he came running home.
