After having maybe the best rookie season ever for an NFL quarterback, Roethlisberger regressed slightly in 2005. He had an injury to deal with, but handled it well. His yardage and completion percentage went down this year, but he actually increased his TD to INT ratio. I think Ben is showing that he will be around for awhile and will continue to be a good QB.

This rating might be high. The Patriots exposed him for what he is. A rookie with a lot to learn.

Because his quarterbacking skills led my college to a flawless season a little over a year ago, I love the guy. As much as I wanted him to play for my alma mater a fourth year, his incredible debut as a rookie quarterback certainly justified his early graduation (Winning his first 14 games? That's crazy talk!). The trajectory of the 22-year-old's skills has been amazing, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for him.

Gotta pay dues, but he's getting there.

without the defense, he'd be on the bench.

He's sure earning his keep in Pittsburgh right now. But he is only a rookie so time will tell for him.

Let's hold on a few years before ordering his bust at Canton, shall we?
