Terps finally have a coach and a commitment to football needed to become an elite program. They're not there yet, but they're making progress to get there. Freigden is a coach with NFL head coaching potential. He runs a sound Offense and is beginning to get the talent needed to have an elite prorgam. Beating FSU with a team that had a losing season shows the type of football this team is capable of. Maryland will be an ACC heavyweight for some time.

crappy team that doenst play too many good teams (cept miami, and their goodness as a contender is now very questionable)

They have sucked for such a long time! I would give them a 1 1/2 for all time. But the big guy has done a job over the last two years and they have come back from the dead to be pretty darn good.

Fridge is beating teams with players that everyone else brushed aside. This is a team on the rise!

Back to back 10 win seasons in the ACC. Thats pretty impressive. Next year should be a big year to see if they can keep their hot streak going and make themselves a national power for the future.

On the rise big time!

They were good only because of Friedgen's miraculous coaching job. Fluke wins over Georgia Tech, NC State, and Wake, plus the way they folded against FSU should have shown they were pretenders not contenders. I guess now everyone knows they were flukes after they got drubbed by Florida.
