This turned out way better than I gave ABC/Mouse credit for, given their recent history of strangely popular vanilla comedies. I don't care for the too-obvious backlot setting, but the Narrator From Beyond is interesting and slyly humorous, and not an annoying intrusion such as with Arrested Development. I never thought I would tune in to an ABC/Mouse program anytime soon, let alone a girlie show, but if they can sustain the level of creativity here and with Lost, Boston Legal and the established Alias, that Rat outfit might just regain more of a decent measure of their lost credibility. There's shows of lesser pedigree being pushed on DVD, so this one should take no effort to be released thereon - even a Mouse.

i watched the first few episodes mosty b/c the adds seemed to promise Teri Hatcher would be semi-nude. well, after that episode i quit watching. what a drag. what trite, typical, suburban crap. people that like this probably are the type that always lock their keys in the car, or drink hot teat right after they get burned.

I'm still a little troubled by the fact that a dead person is telling the story, but I have been able to look past in favor of the intense plot lines. I know plenty of fans who I am sure would buy one. ABC should release as soon as the season ends, total no brainer.
