In brief, Vitter proposes that we freeload off the subsidies of countries with government-subsidized prescription drug costs, specifically Canada, in an effort to both lower costs in America and overwhelm their marketplace with demand that drives costs up and damages the foundation of their universal healthcare system. Lets see how long aggressive tactics like that work before the Canadian government shuts us out.
