 | Spike65 (16) 08/23/2007 | A very fine suspense film. Mitchum in his best bad-guy role. Peck does well as the good guy whose world is turned upside down by Mitchum. The whole cast was good but the daughter always looked a bit odd to me. Don't know what it was about her, she kind of looked like a miniature middle-aged lady. Other than that great movie.

 | GenghisTheHun (180) 07/18/2007 | This is the good Cape Fear edition as opposed to the goofy Cape Fear done by Scorsese in 1991. I guess the only thing wrong with the 1962 Cape Fear is that it doesn't splatter blood everywhere.
In 1962, Robert Mitchum is a really fearsome villain as opposed to the over the top De Niro villain in the more recent version.

 | Stud_in_America (0) 12/05/2001 | This is one of the best classical movies ever. It feautures an all-star performance by Robert Mithcum who is definitely at his creepiest. It also stars film legend Gregory Peck, along with Telly Savalas, and Martin Balsam. It has loads of suspense and some of the best acting ever filmed. This film is a definite must see, for all movie fans, young or old.
