Doing the math that means than approximately only 30% of the eligible voters voted for Bush. So therefore, a minority of neo-cons, conservative Chistians and other
Republicans are determining the direction of this country. Because we really must look at that 41% that did not vote.....Where are they mostly from?
You guessed it...the young and the city folk. And what are the political leanings of these groups of people..again, you guessed it....LIBERAL!

 | Mr.Political (21) 11/06/2004 | Isn't it funny that although Kerry had the mainstream media, Michael Moore, Hollywood and most of Europe on his side, Bush STILL got the highest popularity votes in history?! I, myself, find it hysterical.

 | jgls (14) 11/05/2004 | i had bush at 53%, kerry at 46%, and nader at about 1%, so i actually thought the president's margin of victory was going to be greater.

 | EschewObfuscation (71) 11/05/2004 | Alright, Iggy, you're upset, that's ok. But, to characterize a majority that Bill Clinton would have killed for (or at least had others killed for) as no big deal. Bush collected more votes than any presidential candidate in history. Way more than Reagan, way, way more than Gore last time, way more than Nixon in 1972. This election represents an unmistakable mandate, you want a bigger disparity? What are you, a Yankee fan?
