Ahh. . .iconic garbage-ghetto-licious early to mid 90's fashion accessory of the real or phantom football fan- overpriced puffy black piece of shite that probably could have been worn to protect from the cold but was used as a statement of masculinity and suggested a serious lack of education. . .

I'm a Raiders fan, but I own no Raider's logo clothing, nor would I be caught dead in it, outside of actually attending a game in the Black Hole.

Worn outside that environ its usually a symbol of arrant stupidity, latent criminality, or trailer-trash morality. Or all three.

Wearing any Raiders merchandise is a pronouncement to the world of at least one of the following: 1. I financially support Al Davis' ongoing career of taxpayer extortion. 2. I'm a gang member. 3. Half of my friends will be on disability by their late 30's because we mostly engage in labor intensive employment. Outside of perhaps the Bay Area, being a Raiders fan has become a real class marker, much like getting tattoos on your neck (or chest for females) or having multiple children out of wedlock.
