We must express our individuality by running down to the mall and buying the same stuff everybody else who's expressing their individuality is wearing.Trying to choose between goth and punk is driving me nuts!

I've always found it ironic that a musical movement that promoted a rebellious, rip-it-up, do-it-yourself, screw-everything attitude resulted in a strict dress code.

Congratulations Middle Age Orginal Punks - you now look as sad sack as guys wearing DA's, Jeans and ciggies rolled up in white T-shirts looked in the 1970's. And someone once told me it could never be done. Time always tells.

My son and several of his girlfriends do this look so I've gotten used to it. I like the spike bracelets and sometimes wear one myself. BUT - in spite of asking no one can tell me why things are sewn on/together with dental floss and why smelling bad and looking dirty is often (not everyone) a part of it.

I find the punk look very sexy. Plenty of black, leather jackets, and tight jeans. But I can do without the mohawks.
