A pretty decent sequel, though not as good as the first (which I have not seen in a long time). The idea of the movie making fun of itself was interesting, but it did not always work.

I consider this, a pg-13 version of "Critters" I liked these Gremlins movies. funny, semi scary, a good movie to watch on Halloween. Three rules about these creatures. Don't let them see bright light. don't get them wet. and more importantly, don't feed them at midnight...for they will change into something dangerous! but not all of them are evil, for there is one who stands against its own kind...Gizmo.

Not really horror so much as comedy, but I laughed when the smart one shot the other gremlin in the middle of the interview.

Mostly funny but the chick grimlin was a little on the scary side.

Not as good as the original but not too bad. It was actually fairly good for a sequel and managed to stay true to the storyline of the first movie. It was enjoyable to watch.

Much better thought out than the original and, as a bonus, it allowed John Glover one of his very few rare sympathetic roles (along another in 'Rocket Gibraltar'). Perhaps the real bonus is in getting to see Phoebe Cates again.

I know a lot of die-hard horror fans think the "Gremlins" movies are corny and lame, but both of them are extremely entertaining if you ask me...especially this one. It's funny, exciting, and just plain fun.

A totally whacked-out sequel to a so-so original. The movie is really about technology run amok, and has some great moments in it. Love John Glover as the Donald Trump-esque character.

I liked this movie better when it was released under its original title Mogwai Droppings

The original was for many years my all-time favorite movie. The sequel was a little hipper, but had lost its heart.

I'm sorry, but no matter how cute and cuddly Gizmo is, this film isn't good. Gremlins 2 is litterally a rehash of the original, and when it doesn't borrow from it, it's pretty dumb. Zach Galligan & Phobe Cates are fun to watch, but get obnoxious quite quickly. Gizmo deserved an oscar nomination, but the special effects here are awful. The ending will make you cringe.

This was a horror film? I thought it was a parody of the original. The first one was a lot better.

funny and scary at the same time but not as good as the first.

If this was being rated as a comedy, I would give this movie at least one more star. As a horror movie, well...... it's not. It has elements of a horror movie, but it's more of a comedy. The movie itself is pretty funny and watchable. Some of the movie tends to have too much 80's nostalga though (and we know that's never a good thing). Other than that, it's enjoyable to watch (it's better than a lot of other movie sequels that's for sure). This movie just needs to be moved to the comedy section to recieve a better rating.
