 | numbah16tdhaha (147) 07/09/2008 | Sometimes this is worse for them than nastiness.
UPDATE: My diplomatic nature has its uses...

 | lmorovan (12) 07/09/2008 | Hmmm, what a novel idea. Too bad it never evolves beyond an idea.

 | DynaSword11252 (26) 05/09/2008 | The pissy ones are usally the elite ones, I mean, it's true, but, I try to extend respect to them that annoy me, not easy.

 | LadyJesusFan777 (33) 05/09/2008 | I agree with numbah, but it seems like the nicer you are to some the
more of a jerk they become. But we should try to be as friendly
to other reviewers as much as possible.

 | kamylienne (77) 05/09/2008 | You don't have to be "friendly". Just be "civil".

 | SuKingsANDKnights300 (14) 05/09/2008 | We had been tryin' to be friendly but does not work with others. So is rudeness the option people like?...well, let's do this!...Yes indeed, to be friendly reduce other things. If a man is friendly, or trying' to be a friend to you, don't turn his offer into hate, or take an advantage of his coolness into something unpleasant; my friend then you are a fool. Make friends and welcome them...than to make them adversaries, and you are in an irreversible furnace!..

 | irishgit (138) 05/09/2008 | Sure, but there comes a point where I find myself going "F*** 'em if they can't take a joke."

 | Donovan (129) 05/09/2008 | Even when you try to be nice to people you still make some of them mad at you. All I can do is say I'm sorry and continue on, if you don't like me because I'm me, well I guess there is nothing I can do about that.

 | Vudija (92) 04/26/2006 | I try to do this with everyone, but if all else fails...I ignore them altogether, no sense in continuing the drama.

 | Jar-Jar Binks (16) 02/12/2005 | Nope, I didn't come here to buddy-buddy with you, even da pissy ones.

 | Underspin (24) 02/11/2005 | While obnoxiousness is our democratic right, civilized interaction can go a long way towards a deeper, evolved understandings (though NOT necessarily agreement!).

 | MariusQelDroma (36) 11/10/2004 | There is a point to disagreeing agreeably. That way, especially if the other guy is an ass again, you come out smelling like a rose. And the stumbling over himself trying to egg you into a protracted fight so he can save face posts can be rather entertaining to read. :)

 | abichara (60) 11/09/2004 | Yes, trolls don't know how to respond when you give them a rational answer back. Usually they get stumped by a friendly response--tells you how shallow their biases are. The most entertaining ones are those who get pissed over the smallest things; I've gotten messages from people mad at me over my comments about Night Court, Macaroni Grill and Clay Aiken. Talk about being anal!

 | Enkidu (37) 11/08/2004 | Trolls hate this. (Useful rule: always do what trolls hate.) I tried this tack on a black racist on the greatest losers list about six months back, and it worked beautifully. It's way too easy to flame someone back; it baffles trolls when you are friendly to them.

 | LanceRoxas (40) 11/08/2004 | I love good lively debates- beyond that though I particularly love when people call me an uneducated ignorant Christian zealot redneck who wants to starve the elderly and children, start wars throughout the world to impose a nefarious corporatist agenda AAAHHHH! This stuff if actually very funny to me. There is nothing worse however than when people can dish it out but can't take it... It's RIA for crying out loud! Argue like cats and dogs and then laugh about it later. Some people are way too thin skinned. I think everyone should just understand this is all in good fun.

 | bibliophile (10) 11/08/2004 | Why not? Sometimes their pissiness will be in your favor. And when it isn't, thick skin is in.
