Before he goes to sleep, Satan himself gets on his knees and prays to God for protection from Cheney. In the old days, before we as a country collectively became ignorant sheep, people like this were called rapacious scoundrels... Good thing he didn't run, and if he ever won, it'd be like giving Caligula the Commissioner of Decency post...

I THINK THAT HE WOULD QUALIFY AS EVIl. I hate this person. He is a stupid conservative trying to make the rest of society suffer. He needs to get out of the whitehouse and be covered in some gross material!
CA4life 06/07/2005
Not likely, but he woldn't be a bad choice. There of course will be questions about his health, but I believe that this will be overlooked due to the fact that he has survived his years as VP. Even though he might not be the most likable person, he would still be a good candidate, I mean look at the 2004 VP debate against John Edwards, he destroyed him. This would be an intriguing choice. Still he has said he won't run, and I tend to believe him.

What the hell are you people talking about? He IS the president. Dubya can't tie his shoes without Cheney's permission.
Stephen C. Y. Pao 06/03/2005
By viewing Dick Cheney's personality, he is an FDR in the Republican. His wisdom is nothing out of range. His physical age is too old. He must retire from running the Presidency. We will let Condoleeza Rice, or someones tougher than him to continue his wills to the Presidency and Vice-Presidency.
Mr.Political 01/22/2005
He has vocalized that he has no desire to become President but that's not to say he couldn't make an excellent one. Despite what some ignorant propagandists say, Cheney has the experince, the wisdom and the common sense needed to lead the country on a strong and steady road to success.

There are (3) reasons why Dick Cheney is a bad candidate in 2008: 1) He would drive the country even more into debt. 2) He would continue to be oil hungry and get us into a few more wars for oil. 3) He could die any day!

the dolt has crook written all over him
Skizero 01/11/2005
he'll probably be dead by then. if not, who'd want heartattack man in the white house?
noskcaj 11/24/2004
Probably be dead by then. Not being mean just saying this 5 time draft-dodging, double Dui, Chickenhawk probably will not make it.
zuchinibut 11/12/2004
Not very personable at all, and just doesn't fit the mold of what people would want out of the President. Plus, his health was a factor in him being Vice President 4 years ago. I can't see people being sold on his health to be President in another 4 years.
texas4cash 11/12/2004
Cheney has a great ability to articulate the current president's agenda. However, he seems to dislike campainging and his health will be an issue. People say he already controls the White House. I find that ridiculous becuase even Al Gore was involved during the Clinton year. Cheney already said he wouldn't run so don't look for it to happen.
MariusQelDroma 11/11/2004
While I may dislike Mr. Cheny's political decisions, that doesn't give me an excuse to express myself quite like that, opinion....
Daccory 11/10/2004
Heaven forbid.
scarletfeather 11/10/2004
He already is our president.
jamestkirk 11/10/2004
No way. He has no desire to seek the presidency.
opinion585 11/10/2004
for god sakes, cheney has already been president for 4 years, and if he doesn't keel over within the next 4, then he will have had a total of 8! you really want to give him a possible 12 or 16 years as president? let the old cenial man retire already!
abichara 11/10/2004
I doubt Cheney will seek the nomination on his own terms. Although he's highly influential within the administration, I just don't see him seeking such a high profile role. With his known aversion towards national campaigning, it would be tough for me to believe that he will seek the nomination. His main strength is his ability to articulate the Bush agenda solidly and clearly, but his health is the big question mark.
LanceRoxas 11/10/2004
Zero ambition to be president, though I think he would be a phenomenal one.
EschewObfuscat ion 11/10/2004
No chance. Has no interest in the top job, wouldn't make it through the first year of term 1.
irishgit 11/09/2004
Unlikely. There's a lot of baggage here for the Dems to shoot at. I'm not sure he's up to it anyway.
