10/09/2007 | Hey Ron, really sorry to hear you're not gonna play this year. I was hoping you would be past all those injuries by now, but I guess God has other plans for you. At least you'll be here next year and get to play with your brother.
It's gonna be tough on the team this year without you. And, I know you're gonna hate having to sit and watch. I still think we can do big things this year. I imagine we'll be playing lots of "small ball", since we only have 4 post players on the team. I'm not sure how this guard-oriented team will mesh with the high-post offense. Perhaps a combo of it and some motion offense would work best.
Anyway, I will be rooting hard for the Tide this year. Hopefully, I will get to attend more games this year.
