Yep, a good restaurant, but you will have to have a brave heart to tackle high cholesterol from this restaruant. The Big Boy says it all, the food is fattening, but when I tried it, there were not so many items that tasted greasy but instead, delicious.

If you're in need a good colonic scouring, this is the place to go.

second time at BBB, food sucks again, fries are a bit soft and chewy, burger sucks because of pickles and relish, the good thing is the location and classic car photos

While I did like their breakfast buffet I was not that impressed with them so did not go their very much and apparently everyone else in my area felt the same, because they didn't last long around here.

This restaurant is still in existence? Man, it's been years since I've eaten at one of these places.

We still have one here in southern Calif, but I haven't gone in several years. I used to go to one near where I lived, I liked to order the Big Boy combo, it was nothing really special but I liked it anyway.

I've thrown up tastier morsels than they serve here.

I haven't been to Bob's Big Boy in years. My parents use to take us there a lot when I was a kid. I still have some old Big Boy comics. After my father died, I found a Bob's Big Boy menu from the fifties, when I was cleaning out the garage, in pretty good shape too. It's a nostalgic collectable.

Great place to go. I love their Burgers, fish n' Chips, and Chicken strips. Only reason why I give it a 3 is that my local Big Boy doesn't have grade A service.

Bob's is a traditional burge restaurant the way they used to be before McDonald's, Wendy's and Burger King (and all those others) changed the landscape forever. Bob's, like a lot of other company's found themselves hard pressed to compete with those guys and expanded their menu (like Shoney's, another Big Boy's, and Elias Bros., another Big Boy's operator). The result? Another watered-down, not so great restaurant chain that has lost its way... like Friendly's, Perkins, IHOP, and the list keeps on growing. If you find a decent local one, their onion rings and burgers (the original Big Boy) are pretty good, though. I find it funny that someone who has never eaten in one would want to rate it - jakemr33 below - isn't that a little hypocritical?

Fantastic restaurant, the best food possible. In fact, their commissary is the only one in the country that has never had a single positive violation of E. coli 0157:H7, salmonella or listeria! They take pride in all they do, and at the majority of Big Boy restaurants, that's very obvious.
