No one else can sing this quite like Martina McBride.

One of my friends sang this solo, and it was beautiful!!! She sang three verses of it and on the third she hit the high note like it was no big deal.

I went to Midnight mass the other night at my church here in New York, it was heavenly, the pianist and choir leader a female alto singer was a great inspiration. One of the songs was "Oh Silent Night", first she sang for about one stanza, then the chior sang as back up, and then instrumentals. It was done to a perfection, people litterally applauded after wards.

No one can sing O Holy Night like Martina McBride. I dont know of any other singer who can give you the chills w. their voice. Her voice is just amazing.

I'm not much into opera style, but I don't think there's any other way to sing this particular song and give it justice. I do love this song. Has a powerful message that stands true, and not just on Christmas.

David Phelps has the most incredible version of this song bar none! At least take the time to check it out. I love Josh Groban and Nat King Cole but the David Phelps version almost made me cry!!

Easily my favorite song. Josh Groban is amazing when singing this song, but by far my favorite artist who sings this is Nat King Cole. If you haven't heard him sing this, you are missing out! He is amazing!!!

Great when sung by David Phelps or a powerful tenor. The theology and meaning is powerful even if sung by William Hung from American Idol. "Truely he taught us to love one another" and "fall on your knees" are set in majestic tones that causes one to wonder at the meaning of Jesus that would cause such a statement.

almost a five. A beautiful song, but only good if sung by someone who can handle it. this is a difficult song and really only singers with strong voices can pull it off. such as Josh Groban,etc.Very nice melody and the lyrics are pretty.

Definately a favorite. I highly recommend the recording by Josh Groban.

I love this Christmas song, such beautiful lyrics. Check out Clay Aiken's new Christmas CD: Merry Christmas With Love. OHN is the first track on the CD, beautiful, his voice is incredible and he seems to really feel the lyrics.

Not only a cool thought for the season, but one of the hardest carols to sing, if you're trying to keep up with Michael Crawford or Celine Dion, depending on your range. :)
