 | Donovan (129) 05/07/2007 | Although he would be better than most that are currently running he is not running for this or any political office. He should not be on this list.

 | zuchinibut (36) 09/23/2005 | This is not to say that I think he would be an awful President, but he would never get elected. Many Democrats already look negatively at the Republican Party as the party of conservative Christians, and having a televangelist as a candidate would give the Democrats firepower to whip at the Republicans on this issue to keep non-Christian moderates away.

 | Stephen C. Y. Pao (0) 06/03/2005 | Joel Osteen is a perfect Pastor who wrote the book about Your Best Life Now (7 Steps to Living at Your Full Potential). He is a very good guidance for the Republican vicotries. The Republican Leadership Institute putted him as the first priority. Can he be the first Pastor U.S. President? Mike Huckabee and J.C. Watts can be his challengers.

 | Mr.Political (18) 01/22/2005 | I'm not to crazy about Osteen and it still is highly unlikely that he would try to run for President- he seems pretty happy with his job, and from what I've read about him... I can imagine why.

 | jagman28782 (5) 01/11/2005 | I put him on because somebody suggested him. In no way do I wish to demean his name, I will come to his defense. I do not think he has voiced political asperations, but I put his name along with others(Mel, Denzel, etc.) as interesting choices.

 | Solenoid DH (19) 01/11/2005 | Just for information - why is his name on this list? Has he expressed any interest in politics or is this simply a practical joke? I suspect that his name was put on here just so all the anti-evangelists can be tempted to give their Pavlovian responses. If he DOES announce himself as a candidate, let me know and I'll give my rating.

 | djjamiejordan (0) 01/10/2005 | Not that this would happen but He would be an excellent candidate for President. His conviction in faith would be great for our country. I would stand behind him.

 | texas4cash (0) 11/12/2004 | Joel Osteen is a fine preacher and I share his convictions in the faith, however he will fulfill his mandate as a man of GOD in the white house. He should stay in Houston at Lakewood Church and carry on his dad's legacy. Amen. (if he got the nomiation somehow I would stand behing him.)
