Evangeline Lilly (Kate)is a young lady with a lot of skeletons in her closet. She is a fearless gal who is always willing to do her part to help on the island. Her on, then off again relationship with Jack and Sawyer keeps you guessing.

The writers can't make up their mind to portray Kate as a badass or a lovesick teenager who cant decide between Sawyer and Jack the Tattoo rapist Update: I'm glad that Sawyer called her out for being a tease and what happen to Claire's "don't let the baby be raised by 'another?'

My second favorite character on 'Lost'. Kate's tragic past is why I'm attracted to her as a character. It's so easy to feel sympathy for her. She's just a little girl in many ways in spite of her real-world roughness. And, frankly, it helps that she's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. No kidding.

I like the character as played by this actress but her backstory is getting to be too weird to be believable. She robbed a bank just to get that little airplane thing of her boyfriend's?? Sorry.. I don't but it.

Kate scares me, I mean. She WAS a criminal & everything. I'm just waiting for the moment where she goes on some kind of shooting rampage & kills someone, I know it's got to be coming...

Kate is a good girl with a bad past, and even her backstory episode didn't reveal exactly what she had done. But she seems to have turned over a new leaf and left her life of crime for good (or has she?). Kate, like Jack, is the token bland-main-character (female version), but at least her backstory has some interesting potential.
