Remember what Sayid said about trusting Ben(aka DarthVader) when locked up with him in Camp Otherville - "The day I trust Ben is the day I've sold my soul..." What does Sayid do after leaving the island? On Ben's watch, he becomes a one-man killing machine. There is never a dull moment with this character.

Very likable , they should make out Arabs as not villians, but heroes, he has a quiet sort of charm.

Sayid is my second favourite character on the show. You can tell he was nice before he was in the army. And that he's really a nice guy. I love you, Mr. Sayid.

For some reason I am not really interessted in his character. Just didn't connect with him. I know he is very popular but he doesn't do it for me. He is too serious for me. I don't think I remember the last time I saw him laugh.

Sayid is really nice, but I didn't like him in the beginning.

Naveen Andrews (Sayid) is one of my favorites on the show; he brings a current event twist on LOST with his previous involvement in the Iraq war. He regrets a lot of what he did during his tour with the war, but the value of his character is great to the survival of the group.

Sayid's episode is next week, and I'm dying to see it. His torturing of Sawyer by shoving bamboo chutes up his fingernails turned a lot of people off, but what would you expect from an ex-Iraqi Republican Guard communications guy? Sayid still defies the stereotype -- he's one of the most trustworthy characters on the show, and at least he had the honor to exile himself from camp after he realized he had broken his pact not to torture anyone ever again.
