An average comedian at best. . .should not be taken seriously at any level. . .

The GOP could only hope that this toxic toad would be the Demo nominee!

Seriously folks, he's not a contender, declared or otherwise. But his run for the democratic nomination for a Senate seat from Minnesota is pretty interesting and he will certainly make life interesting in Washington if he does get himself elected.

I've seen his show on the Sundance Channel. Apparently, I have been a member of a small minority. Considering the directions his ratings are headed, he'll probably be available for government service or some other manner of employment by the time November '06 rolls around.

This is a joke, right? I don't even want him on my radio, much less in my White House.

This has to be a joke. He has no experience. He appeared on SNL a long time ago, and currently hosts a radio show that no one listens to. C'mon ask yourself; What are this man's qualifications to be President of the United States?

we could use someone as smart as franken (and certainly someone with a sense of humour... ANYONE with a sense of humour) jumping into the political arena; however, his position on the political spectrum and celebrity would certainly hurt him. he would probably do better as a congressman or maybe a senator.

How can people like this be ranked so high!?!?!?! No wonder Hillary is the annointed one. There isn't anyone else to choose!

President Franken sounds nice. He's witty, humorous and articulate. I'd vote him if he wanted to run. He's liberal and he's a hero to my Democratic party.

I think he's often funny, but he hasn't got the chops for public office. Lets all try to be serious, or this list and its equivalent GOP version might as well include Osama, McVeigh and John Haldeman.

Needs to run in Minn. against the pretender to Wellstone seat Coleman. Not a plausable pres candiadate. A hero for starting Air America.

God I hope so! I want the Republicans to win by an even bigger land slide in '08!
texas4cash 11/12/2004
Funny on SNL, but too far left to win any primary. If the Dems couldn't win with Kerry then they surely won't with Franken. He could run with Ohio representative Dennis Kucinich.
